Music Therapist
Full Time Position: Colorado Springs, CO
Moved by Music is a family run company that has been in business for almost 20 years. We are looking for captivating, personable and dedicated therapists to join our wonderful team of 19 therapists.
Job Responsibilities
· One on one music therapy sessions; occasional groups.
· Session notes, including specific quantitative information and objective progress toward goal tracking
· Creation of individual evolving goals and objectives as a result of assessment and review process
· Maintaining high communication flow with clients and families and MbM admin team; relationships matter to a very high degree to the success of our clients
Requirements
· Bachelors or Masters degree in music therapy
· MT-BC Board Certification (Or be ready to sit for your MT-BC credential)
· Driver’s License, reliable transportation and auto insurance
· Demonstrable song-writing and music performance ability on your instruments of choice, although guitar, ukulele, piano, rhythm instruments and autoharp are preferred.
· Your own instrument(s), along with the use of our lending library of instruments.
Job Type: Full-time
This job requires relocating to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Salary: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on education and experience
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

Job Responsibilities:

One-on-one massage therapy sessions in clients' homes and community settings

Maintaining high communication with clients, families, and the Moved by Music admin team — relationships matter deeply to the success of our clients

Collaboration with music therapists and other members of the care team when applicable
Requirements:
What you must have:

Current Colorado Massage Therapy License in good standing

Driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Comfort working in home and community settings

Genuine passion for serving vulnerable populations with professionalism and heart
What we would love you to have:

Experience working with children and adults with disabilities, neurodivergent diagnoses, or medically complex needs

Familiarity with populations such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or other developmental and physical disabilities
